Fighting against HIV/AIDs

HIV means, World Human Immunodeficiency Virus, on First December  this day is celebrated all over the world. This day acknowledges the need for worldwide unity in the fight against HIV support for people living with HIV and commemoration of those who have died of HIV. this day is important as it reminds us that there is a vital need to fight against the disease by increasing  awareness and education about how to prevent ourselves  from catching it. it provides us with an opportunity to learn the facts about HIV and put our knowledge into the action.
Despite the various scientific advances made in HIV treatment, people still do not know the facts about how to protect themselves and others from HIV. Therefore  the authorities should be sincere in their efforts and endeavor wholeheartedly for a full fledged awareness campaign to protect the future generations from this disease.

HIV/AIDS DAY CELEBRATION:

Aids Day is celebrated in all over the world yesterday 1st December 2013. But first of all, World Healh Organization has been celebrated AIDS DAY in  first December 1988. The History of this disease is as under:

From the begging peoples were very fear to hear about it and keep them away the patients who were suffered in it.

In 1981 there was the first patient which was suffered from this disease  that is called HIV/AIDS in United State of America. But after a few years, by spreading of this disease from India, Thailand, came into Pakistan in 1986 through a African Boatman. Now there are nearly one thousand peoples suffered in this disease in Pakistan, But Registered patients are upto five thousand. Basically mostly patients were those, whose were working abroad and belong to Karachi Pakistan. With passing of the times some of the patients of this disease were examined in different areas of Pakistan. But unfortunately the patients who were suffered  HIV/AIDs were those, which are mostly remained abroad for the sake of employment. Basically HIV/AIDs is found mostly in Shemales and the persons who are suffered from bad unsafe sexual habits.
During the expansion of this disease in Pakistan, government of Pakistan urged World organizations for cooperation and financial aids. In this regards, National Aids Control Programme was established in 1995 and then smaller points were also established throughout the country side by side capital.

Slogans & themes are made every year on the World Aids Day. Now a Slogan " Getting to Zero " has been created for finishing of this disease from 2011 to 2015. The main mission of this slogan is to end-up this disease reduce the percentage of death, suffered from this disease.

In this regards, all of the activities about AIDS, all government/semi government institutions must spread the information to the people and we must also make better brotherly relationship with the people who are suffered this disease. We should also convey the messages to the people all around the world about the awareness of HIV/AIDS so that this disease might be finished fast from the society.
