Pneumonia in Infants

PNEUMONIA IN CHILDREN

When an individual has pneumonia, the alveoli (a small sacs in lungs which fill with air when a healthy person breathes) are filled with pus and fluid, which makes breathing painful and limits oxygen intake.

Especially infants and children  younger than age one to two years are at higher risk of infecting by pneumonia as their immune systems are still developing. some of the  indications of pneumonia in children include rapid or difficult  breathing, inner cough, fever, chills and headaches and the loss of appetite.

In this regards pneumococcal vaccine must be given to pneumonia infected infants immediately at the pneumococcal region anywhere in the world.

The main purpose of preventing pneumonia should be taken up to nationally by all over the globe and vaccinating children against pneumonia and other deadly disease for free.

Vaccine can protect the pneumonia infected children by preparing antibodies to fight many potentially deadly diseases. It is our responsible to control for many infectious diseases which are very common around the world such as smallpox, polio, measles, diphtheria, mumps and tetanus etc.

As a result three regular injections to very new born baby must be provided at the age of four , ten and fifteen weeks free of cost all over the world.
